Forgive me if I seem like a moron...

Unread postby 5292nate » Mon Jan 21, 2013 4:56 pm

I can't seem to find an answer. I REALLY need to create my own track rule, for a new route I'm trying to build. How do I go about it? Can someone walk me through it step-by-step? I have NO experience working with blueprints, so please explain with that in mind.

Thanks

I'm kind of confused. I don't know what section of my bin, has the info I need. So, I did a search for the word track rule. It comes up at least 20 times. Where is the part I want?

OK, so why do you need your own track rule?

Because, I need to create a yard, and a mainline. I'd rather have RW set my desired speed limits via trackrule, than go along the whole route (200 + miles) selecting the track and manually changing the speed, un-evenness and super elevation.

OK, I did a that with my custom rule as well. Later tonight I will look up the XML nodes for you. For now, just clone the track rule BIN and have your route reference it correctly.

I'm done on the PC for today, so tomorrow I will work on it further! Thanks!
