BilxSRTM Help

Unread postby amtrack505 » Tue May 29, 2012 6:29 pm

hello I am making a route of Bakersfield, CA(reason for mass CA rollingstock being uploaded) and was following 'TR2012_Route_Building' by imnew. I came to the part with the converting of bil files to .HGT files. I open BILxSRTM V2 and found my BIL files and converted them, but they are nowhere to be found, I've tried the other acrsecond options but they didnt chage anything. If anyone could help me that would be great!

Are you running BILxSRTM right out if your downloads folder? I have heatd that this could cause problems; try extracting it to another location first. Also, extract all downloaded DEM files to another location on your hard drive rather than in your downloads folder; this could fix it too.
They exist everywhere. You may not see them, but they're there. Awww yeeeaaaahhhh, 20% Cooler! /)
