I miss the Old SCL days, and my family worked for the N&W in the 20's and 30's

Thanks! You know I've actually considered doing the same route circa 1920s. I commend you for taking on such a task since recreating something that far back requires a lot of work.

You know I honestly hadn't planned on releasing it as i've mentioned before it was just something for me to mess around with. It doesn't even have super elevation in the curves since I've had a lot of trouble with the easements.

I am thinking I will go ahead and release it once I get more of the scenery done though. In addition to the scenery, I have to finish my rail cars to run on it so there are a LOT of pans in the fire right now. I have about a half dozen crucial assets I need to finish. Once I get those done then I'll go from there.

Would love to also see the route in the 20's, if you needed vehicle scenery I could put together some 1920's cars and trucks, but we would need some 20's steam to run on it, perhaps a 1920's era 4,6,0 Ten Wheeler steam locomotive to really make the route look the era. And in the 20's and 30's more likely the scenery would have looked quite a bit different from how it does today.

What is your timing on releasing this route? VORA is looking for good prototype routes to add to our RW operating schedule and the Lineville is tough to beat.

Be interested to know how close it matches the employee TT and the approximate era it would support.

Thanks,

Nick

It will match at least 90% if not more. I'm in contact with several people familiar with the line circa 1980 and then of course what I can remember as well. As far as a time frame, I honestly dont know since this is just a little side project I've been working on. It still needs a good dozen custom assets/structures, just to complete the 10 or 20 miles i have now. I would also like to add more track but its just a matter of when I get a chance to do so. I have a lot of rolling stock, etc, I'm trying to get finished up at the moment.
