My track rules changed

I was going a long nicely and decided to lay some buildings. Not many to choose from using only the US assets. SO I turned on the UK assets, and got a whole bunch of stuff. Then I went back to laying track. I later noticed the switch handle on the switch was different. It had a wooden base with a bent handle sticking in the air. Looked at the tracks in the list and my SanB & Bar were gone and so was the track rules. I removed the assets and the route crashed on reload. So I used a back and deleted all the different turns outs and everything is back to normal.

How can I use the other assets in RW with out it messing up my track rules?

If you originally had the San_Bar track rule, and you enable the UK assets and it changes, simply choose the "old" track rule in the bottom left flyout. (You may have to scroll down a ways.

Thats the problem, there are no other track rules except the UK ones when I did that. I thought the same thing, I would just change it back but it is no longer in the list. If I click on the house object the first file is US All Tracks or something similiar. I thought that might change it but no soap.

OK I figured it out. When you turn on the UK assets, BEFORE you do anything, you must change back to the Track Rules you want to use. If you start laying anything down, your done. So now I have more scenery items to place.
