Tracks.bin modification

Does anyone know of a quick way to swap out all the trackrule references to a different one?

It's really only a matter of search & replace, since then I already got friended to RWTools which can do it in a couple of seconds. Depends though on which trackrule you used initially and what you want to change it to.

Strange thing is happening. I'm using RWTools. When I change all the <BlueprintID d:type="cDeltaString">railnetwork\trackrules\sanb_bars_ mainline.xml</BlueprintID> to <BlueprintID d:type="cDeltaString">railnetwork\trackrules\CCR.xml</BlueprintID> and save it, it loses all the changes and leaves them blank <BlueprintID d:type="cDeltaString"></BlueprintID> AND it wipes out the Provider and Product fields while it's at it. I can copy the sanb_bars_ mainline.bin into my folder and change all the Provider and Product fields in track.bin and it works fine. It's only when I change the reference to the trackrule file that it all dissapears.

Got it sussed. It was due to the display name in the trackrule.bin

I changed it from CRR to Caldwell County Railroad. Maybe CCR was too short?
