I think in RW3 it longer matters. In RW2 you had to import DEM first.

Seems like I remember reading recently that if you place a decal, then alter the terrain, the decal doesn't conform to the altered terrain.

That was how it was with RW2, with RW3 you can no longer elevate a decal, whenever you do it snaps back to the terrain (or so I have found).

I did DEM first and have added a few decals and tried out a bit of track. Aside from a few crashes when placing a decal it seems to be working ok. This is definately the way to build a route! I can't figure out the superelevation though. I've checked the tick box for it and am using easements (albiet with much difficulty as the decals obscure the projection)... but I'm not getting any camber in my tracks. What am I missing?

Are you using the HSC or DP tracks? I could be wrong but I think they are the only ones that support it right now.

I'm using HSC. Tried to find a tutorial on Youtube but can't find anything. Guess I'll experiment. It's probably got to do with my easements.
