Ok, I figured so. Now where (other than the brief tutorial that comes with horse shoe) can I find the interpretations of the Horse Shoe type, or in other words position light signals?

I have several Conrail documents showing the signal aspects for position lights, maybe I could help?

Well basically I want to know the light positions, and what they mean and when, where and how they're used. I'm just trying to gather info on such things for future scenario edits and creations (as well as present routes that may be out there ill get) And a ways down the road for route building.
Just basically researching and gathering resources.

Yes, that did the trick...thank you. Now, as I would like to model a potential CSX route here locally, Ive read that CSX is in the process of changing all their signal types to the vertical red, yellow, green. Thats what I see around my house. I did some research on signals for various railroads, and if anyone is wondering about their specific types of signals and meanings, heres a good link I came accross: http://members.cox.net/tsimsig/signalrules.html
This chart (The CSXT one) raises a few questions I would like the signal pros here, but I dont know how to take the page, open it with a program where I can mark certain things and add notes, feel free to help me with that if you can as well!
