Deleting loft items

Okay I put down some telephone poles and now I look around and there better ones that are not loft items. My problems is, how to select the ones I have already put in so I can delete them. I'm looking for an easy way to delete these thing.

This can be difficult if you have track or other lofts close by. Sometimes it helps to dive below ground level to spot the red loft "track."

Definitely go below ground, and wander around with your cursor. When a lot of items are close together it can be difficult to get the correct one highlighted.
Have patience, and go deep down below the telegraph poles if necessary. Just below a telegraph pole the yellow rectangular marker will show up eventually, but your cursor could be anywhere at the time! Go very slowly as the yellow marker can flick on and off quickly with the slightest movement of your cursor.

Okay I finally manage to get them all deleted. I finally found if I could elevate them to high above the rest of the item I could select them and therefore delete them.
