Route Issue on Cloned Route

Unread postby qrfan3 » Sat May 11, 2024 8:50 pm

For the Route building whizzo's........ !*salute*!

Okay....I cloned the SoldierSummit - Helper to Salt Lake City Route and making mods to suit what I like. Around the Castle Gate area i modified the track, added a new loader and a little scenery adjustments. As shown in the pic below the track direction is both ways all the way out to the main. My loco is at 1 and I cannot get to 2 to collect wagons and then go to 3 to load them.

in my scenario for this area i have this issue about getting to destination 2 and also to 3 as shown by scenario editor.

This is the error i get when in the sim...

I have tried every way possible that i know...... !*don-know!* and cannot get to the bottom of this problem.
Many thanks in advance to whoever can put me on the right track.... !!jabber!!

Why I don´t see a switch to diverge to 2?

You see that old fella with the walking stick.....well he just fell off his perch..... !DUH! I changed that part of the tracks first up and forgot about it. It is amazing how a little thing can pass by you without even seeing it.
Many, many thanks to you for pointing that out...... *!!thnx!!* and !*cheers*! ...all works fine now.

It´s weird. When you did set the tracks, the switch should have appeared automatically.
Talking of old fellas, here is one !!jabber!!

Originally, I lengthened the tracks and changed the approach to them a little. I wasn't happy as the original loader was only fictional and did not work. I then changed the direction from 2 to the sidings out on the main to incorporate a loader as shown below. In modifying that track I must of have deleted that switch and did not notice....again, thanks for the find.
Here's the loader up and running on the new track.

Yes, you are correct also. Jalsina pointed that out in his post above.
