I think the solution to the constant CTDs while editing/painting, is to find a better way to flush the 'undo' buffer rather than having to constantly save, get out of the editor, and get back in.
On my system with my route, when I start editing, approx 2.6 gig memory is used by TS. As I click the paint button, for instance painting ground textures, memory usage goes up x number of meg with each click, accumulating quickly. By the time it reaches close to 3.5 gig usage, I have to click the exit arrow for editing, in order to save what I've done and let TS flush the undo buffer. Memory usage goes back to around 2.6 gig, and I keep going like that.
Anyone know of a hotkey, while editing, that will flush the undo buffer? Or one that disables 'undo?' Or perhaps a command line option to disable 'undo?'
