Moving a third rail after it has been laid down

Is there a way to change the offset amount of a third rail after it has been laid down? The offset that was used was like 5.0 but I need to change it on the whole route to 1.1. Is there an easier way then removing it all and redoing it?

I'm afraid you'll need to relay the sections.

That is a bummer but I will not tackle that job then I was going to try to fix the third rail section of the berlin to wittenberg route. Thanks for the info
