You should do both versions I would say.

Now the real question, how beat up do you want it? I found one pic of this tower from the 50/60's and it was in fairly good shape back then, and then there are the pics in it's current shape. I can do either version for you.

The current version. Since the route is set in the present.

Looks fine to me, I know that sizing can be a real pain, especially for trying to size skyscrapers.

OK all done............ I'll pack it up and get it over to you shortly. This turned into quite the little project once I went and found some more photo's of the building. It was fun and I even learned a few things to boot. I still have to figure out night lighting. So when I do I'll add the outside lights and lit windows.

Since you seem to be able the whip up buildings amazingly fast, any chance of a tutorial from you?

COARW could use some distinctive C&O cabins and depots, etc. I am currently acquiring plans/drawings for.

I use Max, I could never get my head around 3dCrafter. And buildings are easy. There boxes with stuff added or removed. Find a few pictures, find something in the picture you know the size of and start scaling from there (I used the door on the second floor in this instance.) Once you have the basic dimension start adding the details. The part I hate is mapping and texture making.......... it takes forever. I spent more time on the textures and mapping then I did on the model by far.

imnew, thanks :)

Do you have the RSC developer docs, a free download from the support page on their web site?

Amtrak351, save you momma she's better looking then me I'm sure LOL

Chacal, I looked at the dev doc's and meh...... not a whole lot there in the version I have. I'll do some research on the net and see what else I can find. I do have some Dev assists here that someone sent over so I can look at that for information too.
