Well in north America you probably wont see anything like this beside a mainline but chances are fairly good for it being right beside the LRT tracks or outside of any Amtrak, VIA, Metra etc... station, especially something elaborate outside of a union station which you will probably see. But chances are not anywhere near a freight mainline....well except the ones that go over the CAN/USA border which are fairly nice to see.
