Steam coming to TSW 2

Developers stream has announced steam finally coming to TSW2. Will be heritage Brit set in Crewe in the late 50's. Motive will be ex LMS Jubilee for passenger a d 8F for freight. Wjll is mean dinky little freight wagons etc, but it is a start
A Pennsy T1 would be nice further down the track. Release possibly end of year.

This announcement is about equal with the announcement of Nahverker Dresden. I could easily see it changing because of complications.
The following reasons are a bit concerning to me:
1. The locomotives don't work yet. They're just wagons with moving controls. No steam. No sounds. No functionality.
2. The route is not in a presentable state (not even close based on what was said in the stream). Routes take a long time to build in this game - and with it being set in 1958, that adds to the time.
DTG, don't jump the gun like you have done in the past. This release has lots of potential IF you play your cards right.
