This ol boat is growing on me, especially with the mod pack applied ^^

I reviewed it to the best of my knowledge on steam and made a YT vid ( im new at it and its likely babble )

Its unique to say the least. I love barrelling down the line in this monster

There are too many edgelords that bash all and praise nothing because its "cool" , that was not my intention with my mediocre rated review

I although am not crazy about the comets and cab car

Still waiting and wishing on that blue w silver stripe *!!wink!!*

Scnanuza - I posted a link to your review a few pages back. Other than paining me greatly ( much like the wheel grinding to you ) it was an honest and fair review.
What you need to see is the original cab, there are pictures of it in this thread. I also just put the word out to get us some unbranded NJDOT and the Silver Nosed units released as soon as possible. The NJDOT-EL paint is really sharp.

* I also am seeing some Bergen runs with "the beast of the East" out on Youtube - that always makes me happy!

Haha that's hilarious !*roll-laugh*!

Though I initially, and still recommend the DLC, I also have my personal issues as well. But it is growing on me more as well. Even the slight dimension inaccuracies of the coaches, which is really mostly regarding height, width, although appears to be off from an angle, actually do line up with the older comet/shoreliner dlc. Really is a joy to finally have something sufficient enough to fill in some of the many voids still left in TS.

I can't wait until the other versions are released.

Say what you will about the Textures and the Sounds... But I have to dispel any notion of dimensional inaccuracy, in a collegial way , as we are all in this together.

Let me be clear: I HAVE THE PLANS! This includes cross sections. I dont know if anyone has pulled the plans from Bombardier for Comet II, and the next manufacturer after that. I can say that per the Pullman Museum I am the only person who requested the prints for the PS Coaches ... EVER. And we worked from drawings.

Now if the dimensions are different by subsequent manufacturers, that might be. I can only confirm what I have. Let me tell you that having the actual source material to use was beyond cool. And it pleases me to no end to be able to refer to it here. I did sign an agreement that does not permit me to publish their material only to use it to build a digital model. Since I am cocky ... if some one wants to send me a GoToMeeting or a Zoom Meeting invite ... not only will I talk to you ... I will show you what I got.

In closing, the Pullman Coaches are dimensionally accurate! Really! *!greengrin!*

Darn it ... one more thing. I chatted with Cesar this morning. After taking a break from 4 months of U34CH and coaches, he is back and action. Work is starting on the remaining Cab Car, Coaches and Locomotives. !*YAAA*!

I realized I worded my statement a little wrong. However, as I basically saying.. it's not as bothersome. Though the width, from an angle, sort of gives the illusion that they are wider, they are actually not wider. when compared to other coaches. So, having said all that, my good man, I shall remind you that I'm highly grateful to you for having been the one having the means to provide the resources to get this done at all. I still very much enjoy the DLC and the ability to simulate the consist that this DLC finally allows me to make.

Rarecommonsense - Thank you sir! Visually, about it looking off. The real one looks "off" you cannot 'eye ball' a picture and make the model. What I would do to poor Cesar was take a picture in game and superimpose the diagram over it, to check his work. I was so exited when he nailed the car body. Anyway ... I forgot that the key to getting people to try and make this was "hey, I got the plans" - that helped, alot. I would have loved to have found plans or source documentation on the U34CH. I do have the manual for it and the U33C. It would have also helped if I knew how to script. But we got this unit!

Im glad its growing on people ... it has character.

My take on the U34CH, they are wonderfully detailed, specially with the RS3L horns! Look forward to running them more frequently.

I am pleased to report we are working on a punch list of fixes and the 2 remaining U34ch versions.

As I confirm the fixes as completed, I will report back here.

I have watched all your videos and read your reviews. Almost all of the items were already on my list.

Lastly, I am of the same mind as many of you. Wish me luck in getting this work done.
