Smaller Control Panel

Does anyone know of a mod to make the control panel smaller? I know there is an option to change the opacity, but the black square area is way to wide.

Try the F3 hud.

Thanks, but I am aware of the F3 HUD, that is not what I am wanting. I still want to see the control levers for switching, but do not want the large black box around them.

What would you like to see? The second one is pretty transparent.
