Same. I didn't know why there were no engine sounds, even though the directory was correct. I changed the path to the Stevens Pass GP38-2 audio, and it worked. The shadow has been addressed. Search "Strange Shadow on GP15" and it should come up with someone posting the link to the shadow fix.

This locomotive is 6 years old now, the textures with the loco are the old ones, Dave Brindley released a new shadow texture for all of his locomotives, as he built a few British locos as well, which was never added to the file library over here, regrettably.
I did e-mail him about this last year, I think it was, but, I never had a response, and as he hasn't been around for a few years, now, I've accepted that he has moved on and left the Railworks community altogether.

Cheerz. ex-railwayman.

I don't know why you didn't have any engine sounds to begin with. The thing is aliased to the SD40 at least on my copy.

It was originally looking to the SD40 audio folder, but the audio doesn't play. I took the SD40 for a spin and all sounds worked fine. But redirecting the sounds for the GP15 to the StP GP38-2 audio worked.

Strange but then I have Anthony's SD40 sounds so I have a most Awesome GP15 sound even if not entirely authentic.
