Cabview Not Showing

Hi there,

I have recently downloaded the Burlington Northern E8 from railworks America. I installed the Britkits repaint kit and the US assets pack. (I had bought TS2012 when it came with it) I thought this would be a neat engine to use on the Chicago-Aurora "Racetrack" route. So I downloaded it and on the first run, I couldn't get the model of the train to work. I have solved that problem here on one of the Railworks/UK trainsim forums. My other issue is now that there is no cab view. I press the "1" key all the time and it won't show a cab view. All other views work but the cab view. When I go into the passenger view on the first Metra car behind the engine, I hit "5" then hit "1", then the view of the passenger car goes away and now I am looking at the exterior of the engine as if that would be a cab view. !**conf**! I don't know what the problem is. I should thought tell you guys that the folder did not come with a "Bogies, Buckeye, Cabview" folder, but the cab view was aliased to the default Brit E8. Could that be it or do I have a problem that no one has figured out yet *!question!* At this point I am clueless. Help is much appreciated at this time. *!!thnx!!*

I thought he was going to fix all that but apparently it never happened. Here is one called BN1. It's essentially his texture although I cleaned up the nose a bit and everything should show up. You need to put the Geo's into the engine folder but that's it I think.

I tried downloading your file, and now there is no texture. An invisible engine with the couplers showing. I forgot to tell you that when I downloaded the original file for the first time, I was changing the .bin files in the engine folder to make the texture work. However I do not have these two files. E8A-db-RW3.GeoPcDx and E8-ndb-RW3.GeoPcDx. I do have E8A-ndb-RW3.GeoPcDx. Is this close enough or am I missing something?

Why would you have the ndb and not the db? If you have the couplers and not the textures you don't have the right Geo.

Where would the .db be? I would assume the engine folder? Tried looking in every folder in the default folder, but could not find anything.

Your E8 default doesn't look like this? Look at the path on the top.

As a matter of fact, my E8 Default folder does not look like that. That's interesting. *!question!*
