Big Blue Sky and Bloody Nose F7

Unread postby JohnT » Fri Mar 11, 2016 5:32 am

Hi all,
what's the logic behind these only being available in the US.
Took me ages to find them , only to be refused access to purchase.
Is it me or is there more of this selectivity going on?

Could you help us out here? What and where are you trying to get these from?

The "Bloody Nose" of SP should be available anywhere, it being a UP mark. Great Northern's "Big Blue Sky", a BNSF mark, can't be sold outside the US due to licensing restrictions.
Cheers!

Yes but if you have the Empire builder I did a freeware rendering of the BSB Empire Builder and it is here in the library. I did it before DTG/RSC came out with their version of it.

The bloody nose SP DLC requires the DTG Empire Builder F7 as a dependancy. The 'builder is one of the BNSF items that isn't available outside of the USA now, and for whatever reason so is the SP repaint. The DRGW version is though. Both the SP and DRGW versions are UP trademarks, so it does not make sense why one is available and not the other.

Better snag the DRGW version before it dissappears too :/

I suspect with a little manipulation you can get my BSB paint job on to the DRGW locomotive. I don't remember for sure but the only difference between the Kuju one and the Empire builder is the cool mars light and I think a plow catcher front end.

We have successfully gifted things from US customers to non-US ones by the way.

Hi,
Could you help us out here? What and where are you trying to get these from? see http://store.steampowered.com/app/256539/ and http://store.steampowered.com/app/256549/.
These were needed for a couple of Workshop scenarios. Not being fully conversant with American branding, did not realize that Great Northern was BNSF . Plus no idea as to where the bloody nose fits in with the current restrictions.
No matter, no shortage of scenarios to occupy myself with, just unsubscribe to these relevant ones.

Thanks all.

Hi Buzz,
As I have both the RSC and DTG F7, found your repaint and have now installed it. Also discovered I already own the DRGW version,I take it that is "Assets\DTG\F7Pack02".
