I'm not sure why, but the workshop routes don't seem to have their own starting points, just those from the route its based off of.

The author probably used the route template from Marias Pass and did not provide his own markers.

Confirmed! I also experienced this just today while trying to make a roam scenario. I thought it was something corrupted in the route in my ts.

Nope there's no issue! A couple of the Workshop routes are like this. There's a few odd ball steps you can take to get a free roam set up for a route like this.
