I started TS over a year ago to stopped about mid june and just picked it back up.
My question is why on some DLC engines when you "stick your head out the window" it changes views to the walkway front or rear?

Because that's the way the author made it. You can edit the cab file to change the positions to be where ever you want.

There are some premade fixes for the 'head out' position for some locos in the file library here.

Ok thats cool. Trust me Im not complaining since I dont build and or even know where to start on attempting such.
