When I now scroll down and click on buy of TS2016 SE it says I now own everything in this pack.
How's that again? Not exactly. After I clicked on the buy tab, an added to cart message appeared with a note attached. The note reads as follows:
Train Simulator 2016: Steam Edition: According to our records, you already own one or more of the items included in this package on Steam.
If purchasing for yourself, you will not receive an extra copy of:
Train Simulator 2016
Train Simulator: Sherman Hill Route Add-On
Train Simulator: Norfolk Southern Coal District Route Add-On
Train Simulator: West Rhine: Cologne - Koblenz Route Add-On
So that's what I'm
not getting: no mention of what I
am getting, which is probably nothing. Anyway, RSC is doing its best to quash this particular batch of anxiety on its facebook pages by promising over and over and over that they're working with Valve and Steam to allow us to spend money for what they seem to have given us for free already. Yes, I know that the last statement is not quite right, but I'm going to hold my breath until I turn
blue or this muddle (which is exactly the same muddle that occurred during the 2014-2015 transition, but who at RSC, Valve, or Steam remembers that?) goes away.
What would all of us do with our time if this kind of nonsense didn't infinitely repeat itself?
P.s.: So far, I've only looked at Sherman Hill and at least the weather looks different: simulated fog on a stormy day in addition to simulated rain, but nothing like that serious winter stuff RSC has adopted as its new trailer.

[I'm trying to disguise my grouchiness these days.]
