Menu Speed is determined by how many files you have installed that it scans from the database before changing. I have a 148 gig installed and it takes about 4 seconds the first time I click a menu button. From there on in it is faster.

How so? The old route loading screens were only an ACE file, whereas DTG is now using Flash and is highly vulnerable.

Vulnerable in what sense? Crashes? Security, now most browsers have dumped Flash?
A player can buy DLC through the Railworks Store screens. Mine crashes, so I cannot try myself: are you buying through Flash and expose your credit card, or will the Steam application's Store module itself be opened? I assume that is more secure with millions of users and transactions??

ACE files are those MSTS texture files...so it can be possible to use some MSTS backgrounds for this.

MSTS and TS ACE format are not compatible.

Security issues that can be exploited to allow someone access to your PC (including DTG), and there's no way to block its use in TS. I'm not suggesting DTG would pull any monkey business, but folks should be aware that Flash has some serious shortcomings.

Is there a method to acquire back the old load screen (post a download of the 2015 version) I didn't know what file was affected at the time.

I received a message from Dove Tail support. They are aware of this problem and are working on a solution. They did not give me any time frame on when we could expect an update? I'm not a big face book user, but they did mention update information could be posted to their face book page. If they do post update information to their face book page, could someone please post a link to it in this thread?
Cheers,

after the last 2016 update, neither one scenario won't load - it shows loading screen for 5 minutes or so, and nothing happens
my patience ended and I killed program with task manager... then tried again with different route and scenario, and the same result *!sad!*

I have a nice little program which is a performance monitor (free) that let's you know what's going on. If you start TS and it drops down to 3% and just sits there for more than a few seconds it means the TS is failing to load. It doesn't make anything work any better but it keeps you from sitting there for long moments only to find out the thing is stuck while loading.

Have you tried a route that always seems to load for you? I wasn't sure from your description if it was just one scenario are all of them that wouldn't start.

They were adding malware to the flash stuff.
