I had to verify the game cache to get it to work. My original download was missing a bunch of files.

Ladies and Gentlemen!

1. I already own TS2015:
-You will get an updated version of the TS2015 interface. (Looks Buggy and Empty)
-You will NOT get the New TS2016 Interface, Railfan Mode, or Driver Assist.
-Option to buy TS2016 with New TS2016 Interface, Railfan Mode, Driver Assist, Sherman Hill, UP Gas Turbine, West Rhine Railway, DB BR155, Riviera in the Fifties (New route), and Castle Class. (Currently Not Working)

Thanks for your continued support, now give us money.
Love, DTG

But won't that delete all my 3rd party stuff (like RWA)?

It will only fix files that have been altered. (Horns, etc.)

The background train sounds on the TS2016 menu are way better than the TS2014 and TS2015 menu music. It's a lot like TS2013 and before.

Also want to know what this steam sub is "TS2016 Interface Overlay": https://steamdb.info/app/325996/

It won't delete something like the RW&A but it will undo your mods to routes and rolling stock.

The mods may be retained as the .ap file is utilized, everything outside the .ap file will be read by the game

When you verify the cache, the program will usually if not always empty the external folders containing the mods.

This happened before with TS2015, and I think it's because of reaching the RAM limit or something, 'cause only this computer had problems.

Maybe It's one of the free rewards things. In the steam subs there's also a bunch of things that say billing type CD Key, so that's probably some to.

There are some decent new sounds included for the SD70M and ES44AC. There are a few issues, however.

Horn is messed up on the SD70M; the "start" sound plays again at the end of the sequence
Horn on the GEVO still sounds muffled and unnatural
There's a stange bumping noise in the idling sound of the GEVO !*don-know!*

I don't know about the last one, but with a few minor tweaks I know that at least I'll really enjoy these new sounds. !!*ok*!!

the easy way to find out what it is would be to disable it in the dlc manager and see what happens

I like the new SD70M sounds! was suprise when i loaded a SH scenario and heard the new sounds. Shame the Horn_End is bad. Might edit it for a fix. Give me time.

You can also trip a Pnuematic Control Switch if you throw your train and dynamic brakes on too hard to avoid a SPAD.

I'm encouraged! TS2016 only crashed my laptop twice and pulled a data dump once after the upgrade! Still, I have to give a slight leap of joy that the monotonously irritating "We know betah!" video is gone. And the sounds seem to have been enhanced.

Roll on!
