so since i got just the core update the think i improve was they added more starting point for quick drive in Sherman hill, and they make it so the ditch lights are on it own switch from headlights and number broads lights on es44ac. also cab lights are always on when you start your scenario on all locomotives. there new car sounds, there no lens flares that i see on any of Sherman hill engines. you don't get rail fan mode tool. i guess you have to by the game to get the tool to make it your own. everything else is pretty much the same that i know of.

The cablight always on was to help with the scenarios that start in the darkness. Instead of you just pushing buttons aimlessly *!lol!*

Sherman Hill locos should have the advanced brakes.

The railfan scenarios are mixed in with the career scenarios.

Yes it does and both new loco and wagon sounds.

In my case with only the core upgrade download I got nothing visually speaking.
But I got a lot of updated files (dated Sep 17th), including new manuals for Norfolk and West Rhine and 2 new Eulas. No new manual for TS2016.
There are updates for Norfolk and West Rhine in the content folder. PennCoal NS ES44AC has also been updated.
There are many folders updated (dated 9 17th) but not with any inner new content.
No change in the Academy assets.
Challenger and Big Boy have definitively been updated. I don´t know what. Someone in Steam mentioned new sounds.

I guess all that have Sherman Hill (I don´t yet) must have an update.

By updated I mean .ap files with today´s date.

The buggy CSX SD80MAC DLC advanced brakes have not been fixed (pity).

Maybe something else was updated.

EDIT: Actually there is the Workshop new tab and the Career friends /and others ratings preview

So definitively they are scenarios and not just a "mode"

What exactly are the updates done to Sherman Hill (Like what are the sounds and new wagon sounds)? Flashing ditch lights are inaccurate for Union Pacific, and cab lights should default to off as they lag the hell out of many people's systems, including mine. I am hoping DTG apply some minor updates to the locos.

Well, TS2016 kept crashing and making dump files when loading, so I went fullscreen. Now, it completely freezes my computer (even the cursor, and the restart button on my tower doesn't work)! Any help? !**conf**!

Railfan mode is in the Career Scenarios apparently.

You must buy TS2016 to get the new Menu. At least that's what is being understood at the moment.

There are doing it so when it is dark you can easily see other controls. It stinks trying to find the darn cab light when its dark out.

To help you issue try to turn down shadows, I've found with this game and many other shadows can be a real FPS killer.

Kind of upset now that my Raildriver is basically a paper weight. Seems like RD does not work with anything in the game. !*not-ok*!

I read that restarting the computer fixed the RailDriver problem.
