Grey Panel behind HUD

Unread postby Roadmaster259 » Sun Apr 24, 2016 5:45 pm

I have seen a screenshot from inside the loco where the grey panel behind the HUD had been removed. I really like the idea of getting rid of the grey panel but I don't even know where to begin. May I humbly request some help on this dilemma?

Regards,

Do you mean the F3 HUD by any chance? (The F4 HUD is the default one)
Press F3 to see the smaller version.

While you're in a scenario, press the Esc key, then select Options from the pop-up menu. In the Options Menu, move the Opacity slider to make the background of the HUD more or less transparent.

Sorry fellows. I should have been more clear. It is the grey panel behind the F4 HUD. I do not wish to dim the whole thing, only the grey panel. I would like the HUD controls to remain fully visible with the back panel gone.
