Riviera Line In The Fifties

Unread postby FHRob » Sat Nov 28, 2015 8:51 pm

First, I bought the TS 2016 Steam edition for $13.50. !!*ok*!! Included in this package is the "Riviera Line in the Fifties" route.

My question is whether this is different from "The Riviera Line: Exeter-Paignton Route," other than the time period covered.

Will the workshop scenarios for Exeter-Paignton work with the route included with TS 2016?

Rob
The steam edition goes to Kingswear the other ends at Paignton.
They are quite different route builds and I don't think the scenarios from one will work in the other??? *!question!*
Obviously things like the signalling are different as is some of the scenery.
I have used a couple of WS scenarios for the 50's edition and there may be some on UKTS.
This is the Engine Driver article: http://www.engine-driver.com/article/sh ... green-gold
Great route BTW.

Peter:

Thanks for the heads-up. I think the use of semaphore signals in the fifties version probably negates using the scenarios from the modern version, as well as the differing length of each version.
