Hello,

I know this has nothing really to do with Railworks but i can't find anyware else to ask,

Does anyone know of any good Web Cams of US Railroads, i am interested in the West side of the States like any that maybe between Seattle and Los Angeles and of course any that might be on the Barstow to San Bernardino Route.

Don't know any on the West Coast. But here are my favorite and in my opinion the best out there so far.

Cresson, PA (great community in the chat, very friendly. NS' triple track Pittsburgh Line. Around 50-60 trains a day plus helpers. Route is also the PRR route coming with release of RW3): http://www.railstream.org/cresson.html

Also, TRAINS magazine has a railcam up too...you need to register (no fee, no spam)....only down side is that it's a small video display.

PS, no wonder i was seeing some long trains Jim, i looked up Roanoaks camera on the Hotel in Google Earth and was amazed to see those very large marshallings yards down the road out of camera range, it would be interesting if there was a camera or two overlooking those yards, Roger.

This is the diamond where the NS-Atlanta North District crosses the CSX Western and Atlantic Sub at Dalton, Georgia. The cam is located on the newly refurbished freight depot that sits right next to the crossover. You will see trains from every major NA railroad - NS, CSX, BNSF, and an occasional UP container freight. More rare are the Canadian liveries, though they do occasionally appear. The only one I haven't seen yet is KCS.

The only drawback to this are the *#@! ads! Annoying as heck, but necessary I guess in order to get the free feed.

On a side note. Railroad Radio is a great site. I listen to various feeds while playing Railworks. Adds a little bit of realism.
