Hedborough - Paper Train problem

Unread postby Dan » Tue Aug 30, 2011 9:05 am

I'm going through some of the scenario's I've had but haven't played before.

I've got a problem and I can't work out why.

I'm doing the Hedborough Paper Train scenario, I take my train into the yard and then run round it as per the instructions. When I come to buffer up to the rear of the train for some reason I am unable to couple to the wagons. I am buffering up nice and gently at under 2mph but nothing is coming up. Any ideas?

You have to couple the waggons manually, they are not coupled automatically.

When I am buffered up the wagons are not showing to couple up. I am sure it is something really simple that I am doing wrong.

Did a rerun of the first part and no problem coupling. Automatic!!.
Are you to close to a bend? Did you clear the blueprint cache?

Just went and changed it to auto couple and restarted from where I had saved it and it coupled up fine. How bizarre

Hi Dan,

I've just run to test, and had no problem to couple from 1,6 to 7,4mph. I was going to suggest you to set Menu - Options - "Automatic Coupling" to checked. I also use to uncheck "Exit on SPAD". *!lol!*
