Now that my route is 150 miles long on one leg, it gets tedious to "fly" from point to point. Is there a better way to travel to various locations along the route without typing in the Lat and Lon for every move? And speaking of tedious, it was a time consuming process to place all those decals from Alexandria to Shreveport along the KCS Shreveport Subdivision! Wow. It will be a while before I move across the Red River and take on the Texas & Pacific (now UP) from Shreveport back to Alexandria. What say y'all???

Hi,

Enter the route editor, and navigate to where you want to jump to in the 2D map. Then CTRL+Click on a location of your choosing, and go up to where the coordinates are at the top of the screen and hit "GO".

for my route I used Google Earth to place named markers for each milepost - that makes it fairly easy to jump to an area and "fly" just a bit to where I'm working

This had the added bonus of making sure my decals stayed properly aligned

I can not believe it was that easy and I have been flying everywhere.
