Who cares about "rain drops", super-elevation and some other dog and pony show?

Now, that is impressive, shoulda shown that first. So much for the other sims.

Hmm. Looks interesting. Since the AND is 90% trees, this will help tremendously. However, I wonder if you will be able to adapt it to use third party assets, such as the RSC foliage pack and the scenery vegetation packs from 3DTrains.

It seems that you can use this feature with every asset in your list.

That was my impression too, when I first read about this feature. That you place what ever asset you want on the square, and then size and place the square where you want it. Unless I read it too fast, but I sure hope it works that way?

I've never attempted route building and doubt that I ever will (and I'm really grateful to those who do build routes), but this new world editor looks very interesting. Frankly, I just enjoyed watching the trees move around. As I theatre vet, I'd like to see this called the "Dunsinane Effect"!

worst case scenario, you chose 1 tree type create your block, then another tree type with a new block and so on to create your variety. it still decreases the amount of assets per tile tremendously when blocking, only a matter of time before you can include different species in each block for variety.

I had a look at the video yesterday and needless to say I'm quite pleased. !!*ok*!! The block asset feature alone is going to save ENORMOUS amounts of time placing assets, trees in particular. I wondering though if you can blueprint your own asset groups? Also, it would be nice to have random tree groups as well and not just one particular variety.
The word?..The word is no. I am, therefore, going anyway..
