Huh. Didn't know the Blue Ridge extended this far west. !**duh*!!

I don't think I have the Tehachapi route, but some other routes which I've just randomly checked in my TS look like they always did when using Kuju weather (assuming that's this is what I'm seeing in your screenshot).

Is this a scenario of your own creation or one "out of the box"? If the former, maybe selecting a different weather pattern helps. The weather blueprint is one of three things that have a big influence over the distant terrain/fog color and brightness (the other are the route's used TimeOfDay blueprint and its terrain Texturing blueprint).

Cheers,
Michael

I have had a few color issues with Reshade and AP Weather TOD and RWEnhancer all running at the same time. Try to disable one of these and check for improvements. I disabled RWE for the time being.

Scenario Pack 1 by High Iron Simulations. The train is slightly overpowered too only needing notch 3 or 4 to maintain 23 MPH.

The performances are actually very accurate now.

I think that the blue mountains effect does add some realism to the sim. We have distant mountains where I live and some days they are clear and on other days they are tinged blue. I remember Ottodad from Trainsim.com always going on about the blue mountains.

looks a bit oversaturated.
