Console is more easy on the walletbook and has a larger amount of people so it fits since Classic is strictly PC. Im sure had Classic been optimized to play on console it would also see a jump in numbers

I would also hazard a guess that a lot of seasoned TSC players don't use the DTG forums.

If that is how you feel why not have a go at making a scenario of your own or even a route. It doesn’t have to be 100 mile long some of the most interesting are only a few miles BUT have operating interest. This you can do in TSC, plenty of YouTube guidance, some better than others. You can’t do it in TSW.

At least from what I've seen, RWA isn't as active anymore but still has a very big following of more veteran players like mentioned above. The only forum that can really compete as far as activity and membership goes is Train Sim Community. I don't ever go into the DTG forums lol

Comparisons, whatever the metrics used, between TSW and TSC are increasingly a matter of "comparing apples and oranges" given that TSC is a PC-only platform while TSW, it appears, is increasingly targeted to the console side. Given that most of us here are PC users (and dedicated to TSC), another metric worth noting is the "Steam Chart" data which consistently shows TSC being played (on Steam) by two to three times as many players at TSW. Using thread activity at DTL forums as a judge of "popularity" is especially problematic as in truth a quite significant percentage of the commentary at forum falls into the category of complaints.

I have. there are some things in the game i find fun and some i dont. but what is boring to one doesnt mean it is boring to all.
