Does anyone still use the old P&LE route

Unread postby chrisreb » Fri Jun 19, 2020 2:47 am

Been having another drive on this amazingly large route which sadly never got the attention from scenario designers it deserved. Apart from some shadow walls caused by some road traffic it still runs fine.

The shadow walls are caused by the some of the RSDL autos. If you want to fix that and can't find it give me a shout and I'll see if I can locate which one it was.

Any help appreciated and then I can delete. I think it is one of the cars rather than a truck.

Drove from Monaca to Brownsville Yard . All those routes to choose from!

One of my favorite routes in the early days. I forgot the route creators name, but he made several routes that kept me busy for months.
He followed the tracks around Pittsburgh to a tee. !!*ok*!!

I haven't run it in a while but I love this route. I wrote some scenarios for P&LE early on and wound up having to fix most of them when the final version came out. I will have to revisit those again sometime soon.

Runs fine - better now we have 64bit as it struggled on 32bit. I just do my own runs as it was a nightmare doing much AI routing because of all the alternative routes

There were some random track issues on the P&LE but otherwise, it is a good route. I enjoyed operating it. Will try in 64-bit

Let us know how it goes, Harry. I want to get back to that one someday soon.
