Flashing red signal and Metra logo

I have two questions about flashing red signal and other about Metra logo on locomotives and passenger cars too. Let start with red flashing signal.

I noticed that there are several routes that show flashing red signal and I am not sure what does this signal mean? All I know is Red, Yellow and Green also with Yellow and Green flashing but not red. On one of the route, The Racetrack show several flashing red signal while running one of the scenario. So when I see the flashing red signal and what should I do with this? To slow down a bit of speed or what? Here in Canada we don't have these like in U.S.

Second of all my question is about the Metra logos on locomotives and passenger cars too. I know there is system.ap that Buzz posted this way back and I did use this system.ap to replace the original system.ap but am surprised to see that I got all unbrand Metra locomotives and passenger cars. No problem with BNSF locomotives or rolling stock but not Metra. Am I missing with this or that is the way with unbrand Metra locomotives and passenger cars to run any scenarios in them on the route of The Racetrack.

Thank you to you, Buzz for the two links and I don't know how I missed these? Once again want to say thank you for your help with me about two questions that I asked.
