Person with a bad attitude on the DTG forums.

This person LT586 whom I was trying to help on their forums see post https://forums.dovetailgames.com/thread ... bug.19934/ had a bad attitude I was just trying to help him and everything I said they basically rejected and started saying that I was rude to them but I was just trying to point out the facts. Read his last post and see what he called me. This is the first time I have ever had someone being so rude to me when trying to help them in all my 10 years of owning TS it seems to me as if he didn't want to know. Perhaps he thought that as I am a new member of that forum that I don't know anything about TS.

The only I can see in that thread is that LT586 has the title of "Well-Known Member" and you of "New Member" !*roll-laugh*!
You have seen nothing in those forums. Four years ago I had continuous knife fights in the Steam forum. Fortunately this seems to be over. !*hp*!

Isn't it nice to be on a forum run by lovable little fuzzballs like Chacal, Bob and I where this kind of stuff is not allowed? Happy New Year. !*roll-laugh*! !*roll-laugh*!

It’s good to start the year with a chuckle, thank you fuzzy folk.

Its the DTG forum. Its mostly funny. A collection of hyper young 'i want this now and i should get it now' kiddies *!lol!*

The TSW discord is almost just as bad. One big 'ol koolaid drinkfest

The RWA forum is one of the most level headed, though im new here if that makes a diff - ive seen others say nay *!rolleyes!*

Its discouraging when you try to talk sense and help or contribute and you get teen angst / temper tantrum
Just look at the typical downvotes on and from certain people, with no intelligible reason

We have had a large number of kids on here through the years who are polite and respectful of others and have been a joy to communicate back and forth with and have all sorts of good ideas. A lot of them are still here as they have matured and become responsible adults. Attitude is everything in young and old.

A little way off topic...

In my ever-slower seventies, I still compete (!) at orienteering events, which are of necessity volunteer planned, organised and marshalled on the day. With a hundred or more participants at an event, it seems to be a law of the universe that "there's always one" participant who just has to spray cholesterol in the faces of as many willing helpers as possible. There's always one - just one... *!!wink!!*

A happy and prosperous New Year to all, even the (eventually redeemable) 'one'.

Next time ask him why he ran a file verification for a third party route - it just wouldn't work.
Sorry, he insulted you - you've helped a lot of people over the years.
Keep it up

Thanks, Peter. You might have seen I am no longer a member of UKTS and had my account removed sort of. The best that they could do was ban me and it says by request if you look my name up. I left because of a certain person almost all the time questioning my comments posts and I found that rather stressful and was starting to wear me down. I feel as if I have had a weight taken off my shoulders by leaving. Don't get me wrong though as there are lots of good people there including yourself.

I had not realized that you were no longer a member of UKTS - that is so sad.
If I can help in any way please let me know!
I guess that you are all breathing a bushfire smoke across the ditch!! *!lol!*
