Is it possible to have 2 copies of Train Simulator on one computer? If so how is that possible? Thanks in advance!

Are they in two locations on your drive, could you have changed the default location? I have TS in three places, on 3 different drives.

It is quite easy. Just copy your Steamapps\Common\Railworks folder to a different location and make a new shortcut to Railworks.exe or Railworks64.exe

No. What I'm asking is how can I have 2 copies of TS on one computer. I want one that is Default so I can make non Searchlight Simulations compatable repaints.

Do I copy the RailWorks folder or the Steamapps folder. If the Steamapps folder do I delete the folders in it besides the Common?

I think I understand your question, and I think the answer is no... unless you were to buy a separate copy of train simulator on another Steam account.

Not sure why you would need to have a separate install of train simulator in order to make repaints which don't depend on Searchlight's content, though.

There are players that don't have Searchlight Simulations Enhancements which is why I want to have another copy.

Since the searchlight enhancements are all from a stock item originally it would seem easier to rename the SS enhanced item and then get a new copy by re-installing the item. That way you would have a stock one to repaint.
