EDINBURGH – GLASGOW SCREENSHOTS COMPETITION

"Send us your best RailWorks 2 screenshots for a chance to win our upcoming Edinburgh – Glasgow Expansion Pack! We are all looking forward to the release of Edinburgh – Glasgow on 25 March, and you have a chance to win this fabulous new route developed by Thomson Interactive, PLUS additional add-ons. Simply send your best screenshots from RailWorks 2 as attachments to screenshots@railsimulator.com and the top 10 (as voted for by fans) will be shortlisted and the winner chosen by judges from RailSimulator.com and Thomson Interactive. First prize is the Edinburgh – Glasgow Expansion Pack plus the Class 158 and Class 66. Second prize is the Class 158 and Class 66, and third prize is the Class 158. Closing date for entries is Friday 25 March, so load up your favourite route and get snapping!

Closing date for entries is Friday 25 March, after which final voting and judging will take place. Maximum 5 screenshots per person. Screenshots must be original, and use of editing software is allowed but not required to win. Please note that entries not sent as attachments may not be able to be processed and posted on Facebook. Good luck!"

So if you want to win some DLC items, just send a maximum of 5 screenshots out of Railworks as attachement to "screenshots@railsimulator.com". Although the Competition says: Edinburgh-Glasgow, you can also send US themed screenshots.

Its to win the route, and the route doesnt come out until the 25th so it isnt screenshots of the Edinburgh Glasgow route they are wanting, its just general screenshots of Railworks in action

not sure how I would beat styckx, with his triple head, SLI, lets crankup the volume and let the neighbor's be damned, machine *!!wink!!*

Lol. A triple monitor screenshot on Facebook would look like a super wide postage stamp. *!lol!*

I've only entered two of them. There are some creative folks out there who think outside the box for these comps.

do any of you think that this shot has any potential of winning? (a NP freight going through town and out on the countryside)

I like the first one. Put the loco a bit more forward and then increase your antialiasing and we have an awesome pic. !!*ok*!!

I would be a terrible judge, I think all the screen shots I've seen are great! (Michael's right about the anti aliasing/ jaggie lines)

ok i just redid my screenshots, replacing the 2-8-0 with a 2-4-2 and added a little bit more stuff!

Just out of curiosity does anyone know the price of this addon when its released this coming Friday ?
I have looked at the RS website aswell as the TI site and theres no price on either of them, I am buying it as I don't enter the competitions due to the fact my images won't be good enough with the settings I am forced to use.

Any info would be appreciated

i just entered this one! should be a hard to beat one in my opinion! (this one dosen't have the best quality settings on but it is what is in the shot that makes it a winner in my books!
