Videos showing laying of track

Unread postby simsurfer » Mon Dec 13, 2010 5:05 am

I really need help, I have been trying for the life of me to get this track laying down but having a real difficult time. Currently I am trying (without much luck) to laying double track with another set of double track that ties into the first but no matter what I do it doesnt line up and I am not able to get the tracks welded together.

Does anyone have any YOUTUBE videos or other videos that show how to join tracks from all different directions.

Please Help *!sad!*

Hi,

Have you seen these:

Video 5b should be most helpful. Even though the video is about single track, the same method applies to multiple track junctions -- to do it safely, simply do it track by track.

I think the videos from RSC cover pretty much all of the basics of route and scenario design, and are VERY helpful for getting started with RW.

Cheers!

For me the only way to learn is by doing. The more I do the better I get. Start a small route and keep it simple. It doesn't need to be perfect because you are just learning. I find this to be as enjoyable as driving other peoples routes. If I can please me then that's all I care about and even if I don't do that then I had a lot of fun trying. :D
