I feel kind of stupid for asking this, but...

How do I make loaded stack cars in the scenario editor? Any time I spawn them in they are empty. Do I have to load them one by one in game with the cranes? Also I am having similar problems with the flatcars from Golden Age of Railroading. They always come empty even when I click for the ones with loads on them.

Double click the car. A flyout window will appear on upper right hand side. In that flyout window will be a checkbox.. Click it, to "load" that car.

To load an entire train there is a flyout in the scenario editor in the lower left with a checkbox, hovering over it I believe it's labeled "select entire consist".

Click that, now double click any car in the train, then the same flyout in the upper right will appear, click the load checkout again, and now the entire train will be "loaded".

You can also hold down the shift key and double-click the first car in the string - that opens a flyout with a single check box - check it to load all the cars.

Nice tip, even I didn't know about this one. :) Thanks!

We need a tip thread. No questions or comments just tips of short cuts, etc. you've learned that would help the new guy and us old guys that forget everything.

That's really good idea Kin. You need to talk to Hawk and see if he will do a whole new topic about this. My only criticism of RW is that their instruction is a bit obscure at best on some subjects.
