Somebody want to do a quick check for me? I can't load any workshop scenarios as the game doesn't seem to be recognizing the required assets.

Try accessing your routes/scenarios through the build menu. Select the route/scenario, edit, save and exit.

It's not showing any workshop scenarios in build. Is it working for you?

The update has been taken down from Steam as reported by members of the DTG forums. I got the update about 30 minutes before that and ran a couple of career routes with no issues. Seems the update has caused quite a few issues for people which is expected as happens when new games or patches are released. DTG doesn't have this problem on there own. When I purchased Far Cry 6 from Ubisoft you should have seen all the flak that they got from disgruntled users. I don't know why it is but I never seem to have issues with new games or patches and I have had quite a few different computers. I shall check out your problem Buzz.

Yes, I get that. You will notice that besides some routes on the left, it says downloading.

Yes, the same for me but not all my WS scenarios. When you click on buy add-ons and it shows what is missing you realise that you already have them.

Not surprise it jacked stuff. These update always do this. In some cases, some have no issues. Oh goodie goodie. I'm off line and I stay offline. No plans to get the update. Only thing that changed on mine was the the start screen. Of course I go but something off Steam I'll have no choice, but I have it all backed up cause I know it'll jack things. Last 3 updates did this to me after I bought something off Steam. Should be a option to get a download via private email and avoid having to go online and get your sim jacked.

Some of the workshop have issues while others do not. I'm sure a patch will be out in a few days. It looks there is a direction they are heading. When there is so many 3rd party and independent assets coupled with being able to customize things, no wonder this happens. DTG can't test on every combination.

All game updates or new games have issues with 100s of people complaining. DTG doesn't have these issues just by themselves.

I would love to Buzz but I cannot access any of the tabs.....drive, build , workshop....etc. When I do the game freezes up... !*don-know!*
This is after the update ( build 73.6a ). I have gone back to a backup of build 72.3b and I am happy, I'm driving trains again after a long break from Train Simulator and forums of such.
I'm not going through that support ticket " bull shite " been there, done that........will just sit back and wait to see what happens.. !!*ok*!!

OK ,so you're pitching the standard DTG crap that it's the end user and their computer causing these problems with the update and NOT DTG? Really?? Come on!!! If so, you guys use that BS line each and every time it's obvious it's DTG that caused it. First started with RW in 2010 and updates have always caused problems. Percentage of affected users.... Any numbers? Bet it's better that 50-50 those having problems. The game updates so now people have to buy a new computer as well in order for it process the update? Pretty costly on a yearly basis. Or are all of us end users idiots? The updates jacks the sim. People who know to to fix it all know how get up and running again. But each %**&%$ there's an update? Can't lay all of that on the end users.

I got a answer back on the Workshop issue and while I haven't done them all this seems to work.

How to play scenarios from the Train Simulator Workshop

Open Train Simulator.
Go to Drive, then the Workshop tab.
Click on Browse.
Adjust the filters using the Arrow and Return keys.
To find a scenario for a specific route/loco change Add-ons: to Custom Owned.
Then select a route and/or a loco which is listed at the bottom, then press Ok.
Select a Scenario (the required Add-ons will appear light grey if you own them).
Press the Subscribe button.
Allow Steam to download the scenario (you may need to restart the game).
Go to the Subscribed tab.
Select a scenario and press Drive.
