My response is 'yes' to all the questions and would probably be a first day purchaser. I still hate the thought of DTG being involved but that's a decision on your part.

Would for sure buy a backdated E&L route. Keep in mind, as a payware route you'd probably need to create some custom assets and what not, although graphic design is not too complicated and I'm sure there would be people willing to help you. Whatever you chose to do Minerman, I would buy it.

I added these notes to my first post.
"Note for clarity. I am proposing a route with EL engines and rolling stock that pairs with the consignees.
Note 2 for clarity. Route conversion is unlikely itself and would likely require asset changes. Options 3,4 and 5 would be new assets, track and buildings, don't have details on terrain, foliage and if any DTG assets would be used or not. My apologies for not clarifying this at first!

I was offered track and building assets so this would have new not used before assets. And I think I would be influencing how they were made. The developer really wants to do a route so this whole conversation about a payware route got started and then I thought I might do it.

I would buy this in a heartbeat. In terms of EL motive power, I suppose a FM Train Master would be too difficult to do?

Minerman, I'd be very happy for you if the Bergen becomes payware. Considering the hours (years) you've invested in this route and it's resulting quality, I think it's more than fair that you be recompensed for your time and effort. Especially, since you've been so generous to share your work with our community throughout the route's development. It's not like we'd be purchasing a new route and not knowing what we're getting in terms of quality. We already know it's a classic. I also support the retro concept; but then I'm from the older crowd, so a bit biased in that regard.

I'd also like to state publicly, that you have my complete endorsement if you'd like to use any or all of my GE 44T and Alco HH660 Erie / EL loco repaints; no credits or compensation necessary. Of course you'd have to coordinate with the respective modelers for inclusion of their products, but at least the paintwork would be ready to go.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to whatever you come up with. Best wishes for success! ~ Rudi !*salute*!

If stuff starts going down, the trurail team would gladly love to do some rollingstock and locomotive textures for the route!

I was repainting the Erie Lakawanna U36C from Clinchfield in EL livery but Truerails announced they had that in the future works so I will bow to the better artists. It would be great in all Minermans routes I think.

Thanks guys, for stepping up to help out this old route builder! The pay ware thing happens if I can get on steam - to get content made is more likely but I will not be able to leverage the Workshop for the scenarios. So, I would need to consolidate all the repaints - pay ware - freeware and get that organized to make uniform asset packs for the route.

The quickest path to getting EL as DLC for the workshop is 1. Getting EL packs associated with existing DLC (see Morristown Line) or 2. An existing developer picks me up and DTG makes the call about what I have to do: (convert -build new).

If I get any commitment/approval for this - then it's a go.

Quick note to suzukisk -your font looks very good - but ya might want to check your spelling! *!greengrin!*

Woops! that's why I'll let the Trurails guys do this one. I must have been tired by the time I got to the lettering. *!embar*! I often do this after evening shift into the wee hours.

I'm running it right now and couldn't say yes faster to this idea. This is hands down one of the most incredibly detailed routes ever built.

After 5 years of Route Building to just stop, and go cold turkey (not Wild Turkey), would probably be a terrible shock to your system. You're on a roll, and you've got the big "Mo" in high gear. Maybe a short hiatus, and on to a route that could provide a bit of extra beer money??? There is no question, after the tremendous positive responses to the Bergen, the (possible) new route would roll off the shelves into computers everywhere. If you do decide to go forth, you will be collecting a few of my sheckles!
