Happy Birthday Bob Artim without his efforts this site would not be here today. Have a awesome day and welcome to the official seasoned citizen club even though 65 is the new 45. Many more my friend.

Thanks everyone. I am always relaxed, especially when I am not at work. We hired another guy to work on the line, so I don't have to. I just sit in front of my computer and cut the stencil for the guys on the line. One guy runs the sand blast rooms, we have 2. The other 3 apply the stencil, prep it for the steel shot room to flash art that needs it. My newest guy I am training started 2 years ago and he does all the sculpting 3D designs, flowers, leaves, birds and other animals. The only time I get in there now is when we have sculpted deep cut roses. I am the only one who can do them at the moment but Gary is getting better. Once the flashing done, they glue the stencil back in their proper places and pick out letters and designs to be sand blasted in. Once done all the stencil is removed and it goes to the wash bay to remove all the glue using an orange solution, then washed off with hot water. We get 15 to 20 units done a day since we got the new guy who has been there a month and a half. We are pushing 1700 units so far this year, might hit 1900 as I have a slew of orders still to work on. I put the oldest contracts up first, right now I am in September orders.

I am now 65, I need to be 66 and 2 months to get the second tier of Social Security. That is February of 2022. Then I will be part time working at home doing the cad work from there. I can make up to $28,000 with out penalties once I retire. So I will be working for another 15 months in the shop, then I am at home after that. Can't wait.
