Secure Connection

Unread postby harryadkins » Thu Aug 13, 2026 9:12 pm

Every time I try to access railworksamerica.com, I get a message "This site doesn't support a secure connection." Also, when I try to upload reskins, I get an error message. Any idea what's going on?

Both these problems could be caused by attacks that target us once or twice a week. During these attacks we get swamped by requests from thousands of users. They stop by themselves after an hour or two.
Recently in June we had more than 9000 active connections.

Thanks for the update Chacal. It sounds like the robot attack in "I, Robot."

One has no idea why one would attack a website dedicated to train simulation but there are a lot of ijits running loose nowadays. Just last night some creep from an obscure .ru something stuck 20 messages on the forum all in Cyrillic so I have no idea of the content was however pretty sure it had nothing to do with what we do here.
Thanks to Chacal new people get screened before most of you see any of this junk so it and the spammers get deleted so everyone doesn't have to deal with this.
