The cars come mainly from Bombardier and the conception is different from TGV cars, indeed TGV cars have only one truck between the cars instead of two trucks below the car, unlike classical cars on a train.

IIRC the Acela Express intermediate cars are derived from the intermediate cars in Bomardier's LRC train used in Canada.

Has anyone tried Dick Cowen's GG1 on the NEC yet? If it works I may just have to pick it up.

Got it as soon as the link went up over an hour ago. Beautiful route. Stopped at Trenton to fly over and explore the rest and write this before completing my journey. Is it a photo realistic clone of the real thing? No, but it would be silly to think it would be. What it is though, a perfect interpretation of the NEC. I recognize each turn, station, and overall geography and a lot of the general scenery.

I echo this 100% RSC has done a good job of capturing the NEC with what they have and within the time constraints.
