Engines and cars

Unread postby kevarc » Sat Aug 20, 2011 1:32 pm

I can add the assets by clicking on the box and then the boxes in the right screen. But my question is, can I load them once so that when I go to create another scenario I do not have to go and load them again? Can I get them to load all the time without having to re-check the box?

Thanks

I was going to say "not without editing the blueprints" but I'm not sure you can force them to be loaded that way either - not if you want to unload them again. I will be happy to be corrected.

If you check the box to load the asset while in the World editor it is there for all scenarios. But if you do not check it in the world editor and check it while it is in the Scenario editor it only loads in that scenario and you will have to load it for each scenario.

At least this is my understanding of how it works, and I believe that is how i see it working as well.

But as Kali stated:
I will be happy to be corrected.

That's it, gotta do it in the world editor. I thought that be the thing I needed to do.

Hm, now I see what you were after. Yes, adding the product to the world makes them there permanently ( which can get a bit annoying after you've added stacks of assets ).
