I know that a few British steam enthusiasts frequent this forum, so you might like to know that I've just uploaded my first scenario, for Neil Cunningham's Cambridge Lines and the ECML route, to UKTrainsim. It has taken me over two years, and countless runs through, so I hope it works for all those who like to watch steam trains pass by.

I've included what I hope is a comprehensive PDF Readme with links to all the assets required, and to the route files if you need them. I make no apology for this scenario being payware heavy - without the payware it just wouldn't have been right. I think this scenario is right at the edge of what is possible in 64 bit TS - I got to the point where I could edit the scenario, I could run the scenario, but I couldn't go from editing to running as it wold crash with that spurious 'out of memory' error. Add one more consist and I couldn't edit or run it!

Contact information is in the Readme pdf.

My railway photos are back - you can access them from this thread viewtopic.php?f=24&t=21667a . Lots of UK steam and early diesels from the late 1950s and early 1960s.

I've been asked about a video of this scenario, so I've made a quick and dirty version of the first few minutes to give you some idea of what the scenario is like.

Enjoy.

It's been pointed out that I missed one required item of rolling stock from the readme - I've updated the readme in the upload on UKTrainsim and it is awaiting approval. Hopefully it will be available to download soon.

The missing item was an Ex LNER Thompson Full Brake Crimson (BG)

Many apologies that this file still isn't available for download - uploading an edited file on a Saturday just to change the Readme was probably not the wisest of moves.

Hopefully it will be approved and available for download again tomorrow, Monday.

I forgot to post that the scenario is available again from UKTrainsim, with a different file number. I've updated the link in the first post of this thread to point to the right place.

I've just uploaded Version 2 of this scenario to UKTrainsim for approval.

Neil Cunningham has tweaked it to work on version 5.50 of the the route, and he and I have both tested it to make sure that it works - for us.
