SurfLiner F59PHI vs F59PHI ND

Unread postby decook1110 » Sun Dec 15, 2013 3:05 pm

Just started using trainsim 2014 and the Surliner in particular

Using RW Works to make a custom F59 and hope someone could tell me what the difference is between the F59PHI and the F59PHI-ND.

Thanks

Yes, "ND" stands for No Driver in the cab. "ND" locomotives are useful for parked locomotives, or helper locomotives.

Or in this case, where the consist is being driven from the cab car :D

I suppose technically the suffix should be "NE" for North American locomotives
