Preorder's up, though - 10% discount, plus an extra 5% if you own TSW2020 currently.

Im honestly the very least bit interested in tsw2.
Just feel like more of the same bs with different trinkets and useless "upgrades". Theyve already reneged so many things its becoming sad.

DTG is already retreating from its promised features and future road map of development of TSW2. IIRC, there will be no core updates to the 'problems' of TSW like lighting model and occlusion.
So expecting more of the same, I'll pass on TSW2.

FS2020 looks promising, but at release is like an open beta. Unless you're really eager, best wait for half a year to get the teething troubles solved by the time of the new XBOX release. MS is probably far more committed, competent and proficient.

You must live a very sad life as the majority of your posts always have a negative slant to them.

No, I don't think he has to have a sad life to be negative, experience in this hobby alone can justify a lot of negativity toward DTG and their products. What is sad is that anyone who has been around Train Sims this long, has purchased TSW and bowed down and believed all their BS about TSW would even consider purchasing TSW2. Anything being released by DTG is purely a money grab on their part. They have proved on more than one occasion their incompetence in this hobby and have failed to even step up and fix the problems that already exist. They've become quite skilled at delivering a low quality product at high prices, when they announced TSW2, I vowed at that time I would never buy another product from, or produced, by them. The money I spend in this hobby will be limited to third party developers that don't sell their products through DTG. They've chosen their market, console games, so why should I even think they will ever give fair consideration to the PC market. Nope, as the young man above said, "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice..." I've become pretty adept at not being fooled twice.

I feel the same way. Not going to buy TSW2. I hardly play TSW1. I fired it up a few weeks ago and bah, this ain't even fun. Pretty, but boring as heck. I have 96 hours in it from when it first came out did everything, even walked the entire route to get the novelties. ho hum...

39 hours is all I needed to stop playing TSW. I also froze all updates. So TSW 2 is out of the question. !**conf**!
However, FS2020 could be a future acquisition (wait a few months as someone remarked above), having been in the past a very faithful follower of the complete series, since the version released for Apple II in the early eighties. !!howdy!!

I need to be convinced that the same chaos will ensue at Princess Juliana Intl with wide bodies and general aviation lined up nose to tail and people taking off every which direction while the guy in the tower has another beer or falls asleep !*roll-laugh*!

FSX multiplayer... you have to experience it first hand !*roll-laugh*!

I wonder how FS2020 will stack up

I find it odd that some of you think the companies purpose of making money is somehow wrong. That is the purpose of most companies. If you think the product is deficient then save your money. I'm fairly satisfied that we have a pretty solid backbone provided by the Company and between third party payware and the community putting out free stuff it seems to be going fairly well. This has gotten way off topic. Let's either get back to FSX or MS FS 2020 or take this somewhere else please.
