I think you'll find the figure is quite probably closer to 7 Million in 10 years, Tom, which is when FSX was first released. although, the true figure of sales has never been released by any organisation, anyway, I'm glad they aren't all on here, to be honest........
The FSX Steam Edition has obviously been bought by folks who didn't get FSX when it first came out 10 year's ago. I didn't bother getting it as I already have it along with 10 year's worth of Payware Add-Ons and other 3rd party content, so, it was pointless in obtaining it again.
Flight Simming has, and always will, outdo any other Simulation franchise....FACT. Don't forget Microsoft Flight Simulator came out 35 years ago, these Train/Rail Sims are pure babies in comparison, and will never ever capture the same volume of fans.
